The S3 is a 5" accurate instrument with passive prism tracking and Direct Reflex (DR) reflectorless EDM. The S3 is built on the same platform as the S6 / S5 / S7.  DR STD offers reflectorless measurements up to 1,300 feet!  The active tracking option enables the S3 to track passive and active prisms, like the MT1000, AT360 or Active Target ID.

The Ranger 3 controller is loaded with Survey Pro Max (ver 6.8.1). This the the 3RC model which includes: Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g, GPS, compass, 5 MP camera and 2.4GHz radio for communication to Spectra and Trimble robotic total stations.
Survey Pro Max includes these licensed modules: Standard, Pro, Robotics, GNSS.
