Trimble S5 total station with Autolock and Active Tracking. This instrument is configured without the long-range radio, but can be wirelessly operated through Bluetooth or manually with an onboard interface like the TCU5 (sold separately). 

Monitoring option is enabled so it's ready to run conventional surveys or precise monitoring with Trimble 4D Control.

AutoLock vs Robotic?
The Autolock configuration enables the instrument to lock on to and follow a prism.  Instruments enabled with AutoLock can can perform the same functions as the upgraded Robotic version, but the working distance between the controller and instrument will be limited by the Bluetooth connection, typically less than 250 feet.  Robotic versions use long-range radios to achieve working distances up to 1500 feet.
